We had a look at where to put our hardware, which I had obviously planned but it made it easier putting it all in place to make sure everything would fit and I hadn't forgotten anything (which I had, forgot the traveler track for the jib cars--derrr).
The cabin top gear will not be bolted in until the mast is stepped just to make sure the halyards coming from the mast base go into the deck organisers (sheave boxes) at a good angle and that will in turn determine what angle they are bolted down. This in turn will also determine the place cleats end up.
